Xiomara Davis, MSW, LCSW,QS

My name is Xiomara Davis aka Zee, a devoted Licensed clinical social worker with A Holistic Therapy Group, LLC.

I believe that acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses and being honest with yourself is the key to optimal mental health. Seeking services is not a flaw but in fact, is the first step into becoming a better version of you. With empowerment, encouragement, positivity, honesty, and trust we can embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement.

As your future therapist, I believe that I have been placed on your path to help you bring to light a newfound perspective of whatever you may be going through or struggling with. My goal as a therapist is to build upon the skill sets you already bring prior to our first session. Yes, they are in you believe it or not. Each person has a unique set of skills that need to be enhanced and brought out in order for a person to be the best version of themselves.

Thus far in my career as a clinical social worker, I have been able to help a vast amount of individuals such as adults, teens, couples, and children in a variety of settings like hospitals, schools, in-home, private practice, and telehealth. I am fluently bilingual in Spanish which has given me the ability to bridge the gap in the Latin community in seeking services. Seeking services does not mean you have mental health issues, it simply means that you need a reboot or reset in life in order to continue moving forward in a positive way.

The philosophy at A Holistic Therapy Group is Holistic Health Leads To A Healthier Living. This philosophy resonates deeply within me as my goal is to meet each client where they are and bring them healing.

As you browse the website I encourage you to take a moment to read our approach. We are here to meet YOU where YOU are on YOUR journey.  I look forward to meeting you and starting the journey together.

Now to some technical information: I am a native Floridian and have had the opportunity to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor/concentration in Gerontology from the University of South Florida. I went on to finish my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University. I started my career in the hospital setting as a care manager/discharge planner. Prior to finishing my master’s degree, I had the chance to accept a position as a program director for an Orlando based community program. In this role, I was able to connect individuals who were underinsured and uninsured to resources that would help them bridge the gap in receiving care for their chronic conditions. Working in and experiencing the healthcare field for the past 9 years has afforded me to gain the knowledge and resources to assist individuals in improving their overall well-being mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
